Indicators of surgery cancellation between 15.3% to 26.3%. We selected the stories that attracted the most attention by the content set out in its analysis. Seeking a deeper analysis of the data collected, other meanings were revealed regarding the issues considered as problems that caused the suspension of surgery in the lives of individuals and how they were treated in the health services at two levels: municipal and regional health.
