The present research intends to study how local information is transmitted in the communicational environment, which no longer hierarchizes regionalities, but embraces the idea of a miscegenation clothed in uniqueness with what is perceived in the globalized, hybridized world. This is a case study of the Portal ORM News and Portal Diário Online, located in Belém do Pará. The perception of the potential offered by digital technology for the provision of local information, to motivate the creation of projects, which have come to use, especially, the Web to convey them. When we consider web journalism as one of the emerging species of regional journalism, a research hypothesis proposes the digitization of information, the creation of new formats for the visualization of local news, creating another communicative environment, besides considering the international regional newspapers are An example and a growing trend, not only in the geography of the newspapers cited here, but global, which have cooperated in increasing the audience of local content. The thesis uses as a theoretical basis the contributions of Canclini, Hall and Martin- Barbero on the themes of cultural hybridism, conceptions of identity and crosscultural forms of communication. The method of analysis that is developed in the research and promotion is not a discrimination of the way local reality appears in the digital journalism of the portals, but of the perception that the post-contemporary world already available of hybridizing means, in the dimension of understanding that develops from the égua paid’égua, with infinite leagues of truces, making then available, compares the two processes and their media |
