História oral no percurso de vida e de formação de professores e professoras de matemática: possíveis implicações curriculares

Resumo: The present work had as goal investigating and resignifying the historical journey of Mathematics Education in Brazil throughout of the voices of training teachers who work under the light of a critical and transforming pedagogy. To accomplish the set aim, Oral History (thematic) was used as a methodology of investigation. Data gathering as well as Math teachers testimonials; who had taken their initial training programs in different historical periods, dedicating themselves to Math education, were registered. The protagonists of this research and their testimonials revealed the paths of Mathematics education with the wisdom of whom have been part of this history. Analysis was based in established dialogues within theorists, especially Freire, Garnica, Miorin, Nóvoa, amongst others who have been giving support to theory and practice narrated by the subjects of this research. A perspective of great curricular movements in Mathematics education since Francisco Campos Reform emerged from testimonials of the subjects of the research, from the Modern Mathematics Movement to present days
