Resumo: This work aims to analyze the understanding of the concept of the limit of a function of a real variable by students of Exact Sciences Courses at a public university and it is part of the research line of Information Technology and Mathematical Education. Sequences of Activities developed in online meetings by the Google Meet platform were proposed due to the Covid 19 pandemic using different technologies, among them the GeoGebra Dynamic Geometry software. For the elaboration and analysis of the activities, the Theory of Semiotic Representation Records (TSRS) and the Theory of Advanced Mathematical Thinking (AMT) were used. In the qualitative methodology used aspects of Didactic Engineering were considered. The Activity Sequences involved Conceptual Image, Conceptual Definition, abstraction processes, representation, and visualization of the limit of a function concept of a real variable. Although the definition of limit is considered difficult by Calculus students to learn, the results showed the elements that emerged from all the activities developed and indicated that different representations can enhance the understanding of the formal definition of limit
