Resumo: |
Over sixty years have passed since Pope John XXIII wrote the popal leaflet “Humanae Salutis” (December 25, 1961), thus arising the summons of the II Vatican Council. At an extraordinary rate, the partitions began their work on October 11 of the following year. This council was a milestone of global reflection of the Catholic Church about herself and about her relations with the modern world. One of the themes of this council was the sanctification of the Cristian’s. When talking about sanctification or canonization of the laity, clergy and religious in all her structure, in this study, one might run the risk of believing that Christians are mere recipients of the data of faith and don’t exercise authentic discipline – making leadership in the search for holiness. Another aspect addressed points to an inward – looking path, leading to a new meaning and refurbishment to the existent structures of the Church. Certainly, it is only possible to discover what the established sources allow you to see. What extrapolates this indicator only would be assumptions inferred to the study. The main source studied in this research is documentary. These are the Acta Apostocalie Sedis (AAS), the official publication of the Holy See. Furthermore, the central axis that guides the research about the Aspects of Holiness is found in the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium, chapter V. The mission of all to holiness in the Church (1964) and the Apostolic Exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate, on the call to holiness in today’s world (2018), published by Pope Francis.
