Resumo: |
This study is part of a reflection based on critical social theories and insurmounting episthemologies aimed at the contemporary dynamics of forced displacements of large population contingents around the world. It seeks to understand the trajectories of immigrant populations for the exercise of their rights, in addition to their struggle for the occupation of the city and citizenship in São Paulo. In this context, the challenges faced by immigrant people and families are considered when seeking to assert their rights to insufficient state responses, and the fragile presence of solidarity support networks in the context of civil society supporters, society supporters. When talking about migrant populations, we are dealing with a heterogeneous group permeated by subjectivities and particularities that distance them from the common imagination. They are protagonists of their life paths, therefore, subjects of their stories and subjects of rights, resisting in the search for the exercise of citizenship in individualized and collective aspects in the daily life of their new territories in the city |
