Resumo: |
This work proposes to analyze, fundamentally from the psychoanalytical framework, the phenomenon of the use of mathematical algorithms based on data collected from populations, whose purpose is aligned with capitalism in its coupling with science, also insofar as this relationship can engender the support of fascist practices. The association between technoscientific knowledge and the market, which was progressively accentuated throughout the 20th century, gains an indisputable technical increase with the popularization of internet social networks. The global network communication system, digitized and operated by algorithms, can be understood as a continuation of the process of intensifying the alliance between media, market and politics that was already in force during the hegemonic period of mass media since the middle of the last century, with the increase in technological advancement. After dealing with the tense relationship between psychoanalysis and science and Lacan's comments about the relationship between psychoanalysis and cybernetics, we Will focus on discursive machines as ways of rigging jouissance in the social bond, with emphasis on the alliance between capitalism and science. In the end, we Will try to demonstrate how the logic intrinsic to data collection and algorithms is allied, including at the level of libidinal economy, to the promotion of fascist practices. |
