The dissertation principally aims to analyze the role of women in law firms in the city of São Paulo, observing the main action difficulties and career enhancement, reported by female lawyers. The proposal is to study how women are embedded in today's law firm, which is marked by the expansion of law firms and the practice of law in business dimension. The objective of this dissertation is to conduct a comparative study among women who work in large law firms, with those who work in small law firms, trying to grasp how gender-related obstacles are perceived in each context |
