Resumo: |
This study has as its central debate the political sense (s) of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, based on the daily activities of teaching, research and extension. It is understood that the Federal Institutes are central to the materialization of the Professional and Technological Education Policy (PTE), present in all the federal units of the country, as a result of social investments, economics and policies of the policies aimed at PTE in the period 2003-2016 . Its campuses express actions of teaching, research and extension, following the guiding axis of an integral formation, in order to contribute to the social, political, economic and cultural development of the territories, as well as of the local and regional productive arrangements. The general objective of this thesis is anchored in the reconfiguration of the Professional and Technological Education Policy and its political meanings based on the teaching, research and extension actions experienced in the daily lives of Federal Institutes. To this end, it sought to analyze the process of social formation in Brazil and its influence on the constitution of Professional Education; know how to determine historical, social, political, cultural and promote themselves in the territories of influence and influence of the neo-developmentalist logic; analyze the institutionality of FIs within the scope of public EFA policies, as well as their expansion process; understand the relationship of the IF with the strategic role of politics and social transformation in the process of local / regional development from the Region of Campinas; evaluate and understand the articulation of teaching, research and extension of FIs in the face of new socio-territorial agencies in Campinas Region, as well as analyzing how Social Workers understand the political meanings of Federal Institutes in this region. Based on foundations under a historical-dialectical materialistic perspective and in a quantitative and qualitative approach, it was possible to verify the political meanings of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology when promoting integral training, although their actions of teaching, research and grouped extension crossed by gaps and challenges, especially in the context of their daily articulation with the territories of experience, in which they are inserted. From this scale of analysis, it is understood that Social Work, as a profession inserted in the daily activities of teaching, research and extension of FIs, presents potent theoretical methodological and technical support for the construction of ethical, technical and political directions, that match and enable the materialization of the principles put to the Federal Institutes. In view of the present moment, it is necessary to face the limits and challenges posed to professional praxis in this socio-occupational space, in the perspective of struggle and resistance for a professional education committed to the full right to life |
