Resumo: |
This research aims to understand what is a ludonarrative as well as contribute to the consolidation of a specific field of study for Ludonarratology. Also, we aim to propose a model of lodonarratological analysis, able to identify if a game has a ludonarrative or not, and how much of the game experience it is responsible for. That way, this work begins with an analysis of concepts and how they are related to the ludonarrative and the player experience, these terms are: narratology, ludology, immersion, flow, agency and experience. The research is mainly based on the works of Propp, Campbell and Vogler for the narratology part, Huizinga, Juul, Caillois and McGonigal for the ludology part, Brown and Cairns for the immersion, Csikzentmihalyi for flow, Murray for agency and Schell for the player’s experience part |
