Resumo: | The research, Study Case type, focuses the production of sense in the life project of the university educator and its interfaces with the building of a generating life of teaching well-being and successful. The theoretic referential that bases the study, founds itself in the presupposed by V. E. Frankl in what is referred to the sense of life, establishing a dialogue with authors who discuss their theoretic postulations. Also with authors who render problematic the life of the educator and the dimensions of comfort in teaching. The empiric field of the investigation is the La Salle University Center – Unilasalle – Canoas – Rs, situated in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. The participant subjects are the graduating students, the educators with a time-table load equal or higher to 16hrs-classes and, at least, with a two-year contract in the institution, who teach in the graduation courses offered by it, and the coordinators of those courses. The collection of data was structured in two stages: in the first, the students, the coordinators of courses and the educators answered a questionnaire having two open questions. The first one refers to the characteristics of a successful and accomplished educator, personally and professionally. The second one requests the indication of names of educators of the institution that the subjects consider as successful and demonstrate satisfaction in the exercise of the teaching action. Having in mind such indications, the ten most cited educators by the three groups of subjects participated in the Study of Case, and the instrument used was a semi-structured interview.The analysis of the collected data was realized through the technique of Analysis of Content proposed by Bardin. The analysis of the data resulted in the following categories as for the production of sense in the life of the educators: accomplishment and success in life; existential willing; internalization of examples of parental and educative figures that help walking; building of the self in the being for the other; choices that make grow; link with the other; person and institution; the invention of a method and formative process in the double face: to study and to work. A proposal of Logo formation is presented, as a possibility and potentiality in the perspective of forming and educating for the production of sense. |
