This work describes the development of three methods to create personalized documents (newspapers and books) for their readers. Two of these methods make use of an algorithm proposed by Oliveira [21] responsible for the distribution of the information on the pages of documents and the third method is based on making templates used in conjunction with the publishing tool InDesign2. After the development of these three methods, two types of user surveys are conducted to verify the quality of the documents created. A search is performed with a group of users without experience in desktop publishing and other research with future journalists and publicists. The objective is to identify which of the methods developed is more suitable for the generation of certain types of documents, newspapers and catalogs in this case. Finally this paper presents concepts related to the area of personalized documents, as well as an evaluation of qualitative and quantitative results.
