Resumo: | The research theme, Social and Spiritual Conscience at School: a necessary educative process for Human Formation, was developed from the problem: “What are the contributions of selfeducation living practices for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience of the learning subject in the school context?” It had as objectives: a) to enable self-education experiences to the learning subjects from the living practices for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience; b) to provide the learning subjects to take part in self-education workshops, as a possibility to instigate them to the reflection about their ways of living and how to relate with the self and with the others; c) to describe and to analyze, from oral and written narrative of the learning subjects, the constituted experiences, from self-education workshops, for the comprehension of the contributions to social and spiritual conscience amplification; d) to analyze the importance of self-education pedagogical work, to be developed at schools, for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience of the learning subjects; e) to contribute with practical and theoretical reflections to the schools, in the sense of instigating them towards the construction of the pedagogical actions for self-education for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience of the learning subjects. Thus, the investigation under a qualitative approach, of interpretative-descriptive-exploratory character, was developed from bibliographical studies and the empirical research. The theoretical axes of the study were: a) formation of social conscience; b) formation of spiritual conscience; c) education and self-formation for the human development. The empirical study was organized into twenty-four pedagogical workshops of self-education for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience, and developed with 10 subjects (students) from a public school network, under the supervision of a teacher. In the living practices, the instruments used were the oral and written narratives, from which the significant speeches of the subjects were mapped. We have also constituted comprehensions regarding the problem of investigation and the defense of the thesis “The living practice of self-education has contributed, significantly, for the constitution of experiences of amplification of social and spiritual conscience of the learning subject, enabling him to integrate with himself and with the others, reverberating on the learning in the school scenario?”. So, the study allowed to verify the importance of the pedagogical work of self-education with subjects (students) for the amplification of social and spiritual conscience, in a way to enable them to have a good human relationship , the learning of the art of living and the integral development (of the intelligences) of the human being. |
