Resumo: | Organizations have significant investments in the adoption of models, with the objective of achieving IT governance, improving its performance before other organizations adhering to existing regulations and supporting its corporate governance. In today's organizations strongly influences enterprises to seek solutions that increase their competitiveness, but often, companies invest a lot and have little return due to the difficulty of implementing new practices suggested by market frameworks. These uncertainties, together with the large number of variables involved in adopting a model of good practice, make it difficult for managers to keep the focus on the most basic points. The objective of this study is to identify the perceived impacts of the COBIT IT Governance and Corporate Governance. It also intends to investigate what are the challenges and problems in the adoption of the proposed model (model more closely related to IT governance), and the benefits it brings to the organization. For this, there were seven in-depth interviews with three experts on the subject in Brazil and four with CIO's who have succeeded in adopting the model. The research results indicated the existence of six challenges and problems associated with adoption of COBIT, is the prevailing Culture, the Maturity that the company is in need of Tropicalization model, Interpretation and Classification of the same as the perpetuation of practices adopted by Time. We also mapped the benefits that the model brings to IT Governance and consecutively for Corporate Governance, the main being the Strategic Alignment, Value Delivery of IT services, Management Resources, Risk Management and Performance Measurement. These benefits are leading their own IT Governance, and they impact directly or indirectly in Corporate Governance by bringing greater Protection of Shareholders, due to the increased Equity by improving Transparency, Adherence to Standards and increase Control of the organization. |
