Resumo: | This research has the objective of studying the apprenticeship supervision process within Social Service and it’s relation with the ethic-political project, in the effectuation of profession competence. It aims to know how the apprenticeship supervision process is constituted, as means to propose strategies that contribute for the effectuation of the professional competence in the ethic-political, theoretic-methodological and technicaloperational dimensions, and thus, reassure the social meaning of the profession. Also, it seeks to identify in which way the supervision process allows the exercise of competence and the foreseen capabilities in the actual professional project, as a mean to strengthen them, as well as give visibility to this process under the optics of the academics and field supervisors and apprentice-students, looking into the current curriculum logic that drives the professional formation. The used methodology is qualitative, and the technique of information examination is the Content Analysis. The corpus of analysis is constituted of documents, such as articles published about the theme in the annals and magazines of the scientific events promoted by the Brazilian Association of Teaching and Research in Social Service (ABEPSS), conducted in the period from 1996 to 2004. It also involves testimonials of Social Service’s docents and focal groups with the field social-supervisors assistants and the students. In this theoreticmethodological dimension, the apprenticeship supervision in Social Service is the instance that articulates and gives visibility to the inter-relations among institutions, subjects and other areas of knowledge and for the ethic-political and theoretic-methodological dimensions, as a requirement to the technical-operative, which assure the professional competence. It is a social-historic construction, instituting as a process that presupposes to see over, not in the meaning of superior, but in a perspective way, incorporating the history, the contradictions and the superations. It constitutes into an affirmative space of formation and mediations in the formation and professional exercise processes. |
