Resumo: | This study has aimed at analyzing the situation of marrige and family in view of the strong process of secularization that these institutions have been undergoing. The ideology of gender has especially hit these two institutions very hard. The Magistery of Pope John Paul II and the Joseph Kentenich’s work point to the christian view of the roles of man and woman in matrimony and family: it is in the sacrament of matrimony that love between a man and a woman is fully accomplished, regarding the building up of the family. Under the inspiration of the Family of Nazareth, by fruitful and permanent dialogue, these institutions make up the domestic church and the Civilization of Love. If the ground of the Church is the family, then the Civilization of Love is the ground of the Church. |
