Resumo: | We live in a network society, connected by Internet, that establishes an own logic of flow of news. Those when in net perspective are more time than space, being updated from second to second, without space limit. Internet broke the daily update logic of information, characteristic of the print newspaper. Motivated by the hypothesis that Internet information flow would exercise influence on the newsworthiness criteria postulated in theory, used in print journalism logic, we intend to make a rereading of these criteria in the time/space scenario of network society. Seeking evidence if remain the same, or if there were change. For this, is required interviewing the Zero Hora’s editors in chief, and observing staff meetings. Conceiving the printed newspaper as a self reference and straight reference system (Niklas Luhmann, 2005), contextualized in network society perspective (Manuel Castells, 2000, 2004), which proposes the existence of a new virtual space called space of flows; David Harvey (2002) time/space theories and Pierre Lévy’s (1999) explanation of virtually, for whom the virtuality is where the network society is divided. |
