It was a for-profit undertaking, but, at the same time, it was intended to be differentiated in relation to others for its cultural work in favor of the germanity maintenance, point stood out by the advertising. A colonial complex located in the cities of Cruz Alta (colony Neu-Württemberg which is nowadays the towns Panambi and Condor) and Palmeira das Missões (colonies Xingu, Erval Seco, which are respectively the towns Novo Xingu and Erval Seco; property Boi Preto, currently a district of Chapada town) is delimited as space of study, in the period between 1897, when the company began to buy territories, and 1932, the year which marks the official closing of its activities due to the death of its owner. For doing the research and the sources handling, theoretical-methodological contributions were searched in the micro-history. This way, it deals about a study of immigration and colonization, linked to the new cultural history.
