Resumo: The organizational values, unlike the concept of financial values highly knowledgeable in project management, refer to the organizational principles that are widespread in organizations and that should permeate the decisions taken there, such as honesty, transparency and other values that are usually explicit in organizational strategy. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between organizational values and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) project managers, and also compared with professionals from other areas. To achieve it, we made a quantitative survey (survey) with project management professionals who are students of graduate and MBA in the region of Campinas. This study aims to answer the following questions: what types of organizational values, measured by the scale of Tamayo et al. (2000), that relate to higher levels of organizational citizenship behavior, measured by Dyne et al. (1994), the perception of project managers and what are the differences between professionals working in project management and those who do not work. The choice of method in this study took place from the research questions to be addressed. Then in possession of validated scales, we chose the strategy of quantitative survey research. By this technique, it is possible to identify common characteristics of a sample and the relationships among research variables. Based on these results, it can be stated statistically that for Domain and Hierarchy values, there was a higher level of OCB and Equalitarianism values, Autonomy, Conservatism and Harmony was the average level of correlation according to the scale of Cohen (1988). Based on the values of correlations medium / high obtained, we can say statistically that the hypothesis of the study is partially supported, because the greater egalitarianism correlation was obtained, but this did not occur with the values autonomy and harmony that had been predicted from the theory Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The results of the second part of the study, referring to differences between professionals working in the area of project management and professionals from other areas showed no significant differences to support this hypothesis.
