This work aims to understand the process of privatization/commercialization that occurs in public school, whose context is happening in the midst of transformations that occurred in the last decades of the twentieth century, pointing to a new paradigm of society where relations are treated in private, under market regulation. Earn evidence thus issues relating to the forms as manifested the privatization, the commercialization, the regulation mechanisms, the intervention and the consent, in relationship involving the Brazilian education, because the reforms promoted in Brazil from the 1980s brought as purpose to adjust the country according to the requirements of the new form of capitalist accumulation and the demand of international financial institutions. An educational policy is oriented to submit the education at the ideological and economic interests of capital. The logic imposed by the market, however, is marked by contradictions and conflicts, because the capitalism has produced a combined and uneven development, blending old and new exploration and exclusion forms. In this context we can observe the capital displacement to the educational sector through the expansion of private education systems towards the municipal education networks now restructured under the paradigm of the state reforms of the 1990s. We looking for verify how the market rationality and private interests are inserted into public education through the contract of partnership established between the municipality of Itupeva, in the São Paulo State, and the COC Education System |
