Resumo: This dissertation investigates environmental practices of private primary schools located in the city of S??o Paulo. In this way, it is also intended to establish among them a comparative about the actions carried out in order to provide students with teachings that involve environmental themes. To this end, visits were made to schools and semi-structured interviews with directors, teachers and pedagogical guides. These interviews were recorded, transcribed and analyzed using the IRAMUTEQ software, which provides useful analyzes, such as: Basic Lexicography - Classical textual statistics, Specificity Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (AFC), Descending Hierarchical Classification (CHD), Analysis of Similitude and Cloud of Words, facilitating the interpretation of the results, by the researcher. Through IRAMUTEQ software, it was observed that school B exerts many environmental practices and school C practices more transversality. The interviews were aimed at verifying trends, opinions and conflicts, as well as the effectiveness of the environmental actions conducted by the schools. This, through this research, we intend to present the importance of adopting environmental practices in the schools studied, as well as verify the opinion of the agents interviewed.
