The competition among companies is turning even closer and the programs of management to run them bring in their essences a high level of sophistication, demanding everybody in the companies an integration between areas and processes, high level of commitment and motivation in order to achieve continuous improvement. It has been demanded from the blue collars as well as from the white ones. In this scenery, the HR has been living continuous transformations searching for different tools to help the company to achieve its goals. The Balanced Scorecard is one running tool that with its indexes promotes the implementation of strategies approved by the organizations??? decision makers, assuring the actions from different areas, departments and sections to accomplish their roles that is contribute to the reaching of aims established by the organization. Through a case study methodology this work has the aim of analyzing the influences of Balanced Scorecard implementation in the HR, in a company of the petrochemical field. More specifically, it tries to study the performance of HR with the implementation of this system, investigating the HR employees and runners perspectives. The data were collected through questionnaires and interview with them. This study begins with the hypotheses that the HR in the company investigated got better performance after the implementation of the system Balanced Scorecard, according with the deposition of integrants. This research was carried out having as theoretical support mainly the studies of Kaplan; Norton (1997) and Ulrich (1998). |
