Resumo: The present research has as object of study the permanent formation, in Infantile Education, offered by the Pedagogical Division, Department of Infantile Education, of the Regional Directorate of Education Jaçanã / Tremembé, of the Municipal Secretary of Education of São Paulo. Permanent training is essential for the subjective and professional development of education professionals and is essential to overcome the possible weakness in initial training. Considering the school context, listening to the teacher, effective practice and the improvement of the collective in the work environment, permanent training results in many individual and collective benefits. This study seeks to answer the following questions: What does ongoing formation intend and propose? How is the training of trainers carried out? What methodologies are used? How is it evaluated? Are surveys carried out and survey of training needs? The objective is to analyze the meanings, strategies, approaches and scope of the training offered by the Regional Directorate of Education - Jaçanã / Tremembé in the actions developed in the Educational Units. The specific objectives of the research are: to identify what the permanent formation intends and proposes; analyze how is the training of trainers, methodology used and evaluation; investigate if and how surveys and training needs are carried out. The research participants were the trainers of the Jaçanã / Tremembé Pedagogical Division and two pedagogical coordinators. The methodology will be of a qualitative nature, whose instruments of data collection will be: analysis of official documents and interview. The theoretical references used for teacher training are: Bernadete Gatti, Francisco Imbernón, Antônio Nóvoa, Maurice Tardif; for collaborative groups: Michel Fullan and Andy Hargreaves.
