This research analyzes the inclusion of cultural and epistemological diversity in higher education at the University of Latin American Integration (UNILA.) Heading the comprehension of philosophical principle set forth in the decree law 12.189 as it substantiates the political-pedagogical Project that contains humanistic bases, politicization and cognitive science, democracy was necessary to conduct such social theoretical and historical reasons that underpin the foundations of colonial matrices of higher education. No eurocentric epistemologies form the theoretical basis of the new foundation design for education and higher education, in order to include cultural and epistemological diversity in no westcentric, decolonial and popular emancipator perspective. UNILA has offered alternative to current systemic models of higher education and sought to contribute to the Latin American integration, recognizing the diversity of national identities and the elements that unite our roots and our destinations throughout the continents once globalized, while its very important propose is meant to establish itself as a teaching model for higher education against the hegemonic. Through a qualitative analysis basis, shall we listen to the voices of such principals characters in order to consolidate proposals that the humanistic frame work for integrating and internationalist solidarity vocation of UNILA. |
