Resumo: |
Studies on the subject of domestic violence point out that men and women have differences in interpersonal relationships, many of them considered to be conflicting. This is a complex issue because, apart from men and women being involved in a conflictive relationship, the family is also involved. The family should have a safe and secure environment, but in some cases, the feelings of love revert, giving space to violence, contributing to the rupture of the family structure. In face of these considerations, this research has had as main objective to describe and analyze the structure and the psychic dynamics of women in situation of domestic violence; and, as secondary objectives, to characterize socioeconomic aspects of the previous history of the participants. To do so, qualitative method was used, from which three women in a situation of domestic violence, aged between 18 years and 60 years, were evaluated. The instruments used were the Sociodemographic Questionnaire, the Phillipson Object Relations Test (ORT) and the Beck Depression Scale. The results showed that these women, in general, present schizoid traits, and in the Dominant Unconscious Tension System, the personality dynamics presents feelings of fear, desire and defense, characteristics of the schizo paranoid and depressive positions. Such dynamics suggests the need to be loved and the fear of evil persecutory objects. Observing how these women deal with the violence of their respective companions, through the results analyzed in this study, it was possible to perceive that the separation of the evil object leads them to suffering, guilt and fear. Due to fear, these participating women try to endure the situation, corresponding to the desires of the hated object, even accepting death threats, as identified in the reports. In the Beck Scale (Depression), it was observed that each woman experiences and suffers from violence in a different way, being evident through the scores obtained by the Beck Scale, indicative of depression. The maintenance of violence occurs because these women can not break the cycle of violence, whether for loving the hated object, for addictedness or for not perceiving alternatives other than violence. Therefore, it is essential to carry out researches in this area, since the results presented in this study allow us to contribute with the roles of the professionals who work alongside this demand, enabling a more pertinent understanding of how to deal with violence, as well as providing subsidies for the construction of new public spaces for the care of these women, expanding the services of psychological and social support to them. |
