Resumo: This research aims to investigate the narratives of Pentecostalisms, especially of the Assemblies of God in Brazil, produced between 1960 and 2018. The temporal frame was determined by the years of production of the books that make up the corpus of analysis of this research. It inquires about the existence of significant displacements of the narratives about Pentecostalisms, suspecting that this displacement is justified fundamentally by the changes in the wider social context (social, historical, cultural, political, economic, and above all, religious). In this sense, Michel de Certeau’s conception of “social place” will facilitate the understanding of this hypothesis, as it provides important analytical tools in understanding the relationship between the narratives and the social place from which these narratives emerge..
