This qualitative study aims to clarify the implications of the pedagogical relationship with the construction of knowledge in distance tutoring with a focus on the relationship between tutors and EAD students at the Methodist University of São Paulo. Analyzes the complexity of educational work in a virtual learning environment and the relationship established between these subjects in the pedagogical practice. From the methodological assumptions and the multi-referential, dialogical and transpersonal approaches observed from the perspective of the distance modality in the construction of the theoretical references. Held at UMESP and at the Mauá-SP regional support center, the research was developed through observations, exploratory questionnaires and in-depth interviews, with the participation of four tutor teachers of the course. Distance Learning Program and ten students from this same course, besides the critical reading of documents, considering the educational legislation and current curriculum guidelines. It sought to answer the following questions: What is the pedagogical relationship? What is the importance of the pedagogical relationship when the assumed educational conception works in the perspective of educating in / for the completeness? What are the possibilities, difficulties and limitations of this pedagogical relationship proposal in distance learning considering the relationships between tutors and students? Seeking out To identify the conflicts and challenges experienced and experienced in this relationship, some actors in the teaching and learning process were problematized for the construction of knowledge in the modality, unveiling characteristics of discourse and practices full of meaning and meaning. The research allowed To conclude that, despite the distance, the student is not isolated, he has the possibility to actively participate with the tutoring in the construction of his knowledge and his formation, however, this interaction is influenced by the pedagogical relationship between these subjects and others. factors that may affect the development of work in distance education. To fully educate, it is necessary to recognize the complexity present in every educational act and the character of plurality, multiculturalism and diversity present in the context of the Brazilian reality, as well as the emergence of self-knowledge and continuing education for teachers in the field.
