Resumo: |
The Brazilian society is faced with a true religious market, where the symbolic goods of the salvation can be guaranteed by means of financial contributions. The practice of the tithe is part of this discussion and searching in the reading of the Bible theological basic. Several Biblical texts present the tithe´s matter, saying that does not have just one way to deal with the tithe in the Bible . Deuteronomy 14,22-29 is the starting point of the present research, revealing one tithe´s use whose goal is to make stronger the people of Israel´s freedom and identity, supported by the faith in Javé. The practice one of the tithe in Deuteronomy is a communitarian act of the peasantry that happens from the local law. The peasant eats the tithe that he has produced. Each three years the peasant deposits the tithe in the gate of the village-city. This tithe will be eaten by impoverished groups. In Deuteronomy 14,22-29, the practice of the tithe is expression of the peasantry communitarian organization that is against the collection of the tithe as a tribute. In Deuteronomy 14,22-29, the practice of the tithe is expression of the ommunitarian organization to preserve the freedom and to guarantee the peasantry autonomy.(AU) |
