Resumo: This dissertation aims to highlight the importance of integration between the areas of communication and people management for the planning and development of internal communication in organizations, as well as raises some partnership opportunities between areas. Attempt was also made to understand the role of the area of people management in communication processes and discuss the importance of dialogue and participation in improving communication with internal audiences. The new social contexts and the inclusion of organizations in this environment served as the setting for this research and emphasized the importance of Complex Thinking as the theoretical foundation. Bibliographical survey of the subject and semi-structured interviews with experts in the areas of organizational communication and administration with an emphasis in personnel management were used as the guiding methodology. It is understood that adopting complex thinking and transdisciplinary vision as the foundation of this interaction makes integrated internal communication able to promote dialogue and participation, and thus go beyond the technical- instrumental view to overcome the barriers of departmentalization and act strategically with people management.
