Resumo: |
The aim of this study is to contribute to the understanding of the teaching conception that was articulated at a field of the one of the greatest Brazilian university, the University of São Paulo, most specifically at the Institute of Chemistry, also known as IQ-USP. Thus, IQ-USP is chosen as the subject of present research, because its history is entangled with the creation of the University and its scientific paradigm is focused on the analysis profile of this work: the knowledge area of the exact sciences. Based on the assumption that the conception of how to provide higher education is intrinsically linked to the vision of the world, knowledge and education drawn up by the historical trajectory of the university, but also by the relations that it establishes with the community, throughout the process of its action , it is possible to say that such beliefs and values, selected and organized by academic community, will influence in the specific training for their teachers. Thus, from the standpoint of qualitative research, the study on the history of the training of teachers established along the history of the University in which it is inserted and its influence on the conception about teaching should be highlighted. From this point of view, some authors bring many contributions to the clarification of the concept of teaching that is implicit in the training of a faculty member and its impact on the quotidian teaching practice. Among these authors, stands out the thought of Paschoal Senise (2006), Maria Isabel Cunha (2007), Heladio César G. Antunha (1974), and J. Gimeno Sacristán (1998 and 1999). Data collection was carried out using historical documents and information, as well as semi-structured interviews, always in a qualitative approach, because it provides us with better conditions of a subjective understanding of the issues of this research. Based on these data that were analyzed in the light of the theoretical contribution of the authors referenced in this work, we reinforce the conclusion that the institution builds the professional, showing up that, in the training of the staff of IQ-USP, the tradition and the innovation, dialectically, are moving together.(AU) |
