Resumo: |
This research proposes to analyze the liturgy in the urban context, and how the praxis can influence and articulate with the Christian liturgy built in the city, especially in impoverished areas and experiencing the contradictions resulting from an exclusionary and concentrating economic model. income. Thus, the research aims to point to the development of the liturgical pastoral praxis, having as a reference space the area of the Community of Heliópolis, São Paulo, the second largest favela in Brazil. Praxis is the reflective and material activity of the human being, that is, transformative action that must insist on the preferential option for the poor and excluded. The liturgical pastoral that has its reference in praxis will, therefore, create actions that encourage the hopes of the people who celebrate, favoring the organization and awareness of the social struggles necessary to overcome exclusion, returning dignity to human beings. The research is developed in three stages: first, the theoretical concepts of praxis and urbanization are sought; secondly, the path of occupation of the Heliópolis area is analyzed; and finally the notes for the liturgical pastoral praxis in the urban context. The result will be a set of historical and theoretical general references capable of sustaining a liturgical pastoral that contributes to human hopes and the creation of a new society paradigm based on justice and equality.
