Resumo: This research aimed to develop an educational product in e-book format. It contemplates a didactic sequence for the content Mixture Separation Methods in Chemistry, and establishes relationship with different themes that will be approached in different technical disciplines during the Technical Course of Farming Integrated in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO) - Colorado do Oeste Campus. The theme chosen was from a subject present in the students' daily life: the water treatment for the public supply. This decision is supported by the fact that, despite all the technological advances we have experienced in education, teaching is still based on the old traditional trend, in which students are never protagonists in the teaching and learning process. This is a qualitative research, based on the action research method, since the researcher is the class teacher and therefore interested in solving the problem. Data were collected through semi-structured questionnaires and by recording and transcribing information obtained from focus group conversations. It was inferred from the data analysis that the elaboration and application of this didactic sequence contributed to the meaningful learning of the Mixing Separation Methods content and to the students' approach to the Chemistry discipline, which can greatly contribute to an active participation, aware of them in society as citizens and technicians in agriculture.
