Resumo: |
The workof the school psychologists df Rio de Ja- ·neiro Municipal Departament of Education and Cultu.re is pretentiously directed by an institutional sight, based mainly on J. Blegerls ideas. The aim of this work is to show that such a pretence does not resist the analysis of the facts. In the first place, we present a critical view of the school institution thought of as State Ideological Apparatus, and try to point out the practical consequence of such atheoretical stand point throughout this work. Then an as much detailed as possible précis is done of the activities carried out by school psychologists in Rio de Janeiro 1.Iunicipality, and this practice is compared with some aspects of J. Blegerls theory. Although the evidences available in official documents and the reports of those who direct and coord~e tr~ achool psychologistsls work in the municipality mentioned above points towards the adequacy of such work with the institutional theory, it does not really happen. The possible reasons of such discrepancy between what is said and what is actually done, i. e., what hampers, limits, and even prevents actuating practically at an institutional level, are analysed and discussed. The conclusion is that the best work that can be db ne for education now must undoubtedly be devised from an institutional outlook. Nevertheless, it is important toe conscious of its difficulties and li~itations and mainly to know the role and function of the School Ideological Apparatus. |
