The objective of this thesis was to analyze the development process and the application of social actions and voluntary work, that demonstrate the concern of the company with its social responsibility through a more active participation, concrete and accomplish, influencing in the occurrence of the changes that the society needs. The focus of the study was to analyze one of these companies, the Robert Bosch Limited, of German capital, consolidated in Brazil since the beginning of the decade of 1950. Being considered, more specifically, one of its units, located in the Paraná since 1975, The Bosch Curitiba, through the implementation of a program of social action based mainly in the education and the sustainable development, intended to create conditions so that the community of a district located near from Curitiba could identify chances of economic and social development. This thesis is the result of this discussion and was developed by means of a program of social action that evidences the importance of the active participation of the company in the community, based in plans that evidence the education as the essence for the social development. The Green Village, community of the periphery of Curitiba, was chosen by the company to implant the program of social responsibility (Piece by Piece). In this community, the main focus was members who were O to 18 years old. Therefore, the program had the participation of a company, its collaborators, as voluntary, and of the schools of the involved community. The collection of the data was given for ditTerent procedures: bibliographical research, documentary research, participant comment and interviews. The qualitative data had been compared, and had been presented in report formo The quantitative data had been tabulated and evaluated, serving of bracket and confirmation to the results presented for the analysis of the quantitative data. The performance of the social program, Piece by Piece was in the direction to sensitize, to stimulate and to create conditions to acquire knowledge in the involved ones that the necessary changes will only be effective in the measure where to magnify its leveI of compromise, or to become a capable population of its organizing and preserving and to defend its interests and yearnings, developing its natural character of the exerci se of the citizenship and a social contact that assures basic rights for any process and evolution of a society. More of the one than to intend to create innovative solutions, systemize a program of social responsibility searchs to consolidate one other estimated, where the majority ofthe implemented social activities, being benevolent or not, hardly support itself ,but always if it reflects in the lack of a work systematic, with goals, with some kind of attendance, waited results, with a strategical planning that projects the short actions, medium and long run. This also is an evidence of that a not directed social plan for philantropic activities, but for the fetching to exert the social responsibility effectively, must not have in the factor time the main reference of success of the enterprise, but of small actions of improvement of continued and planned, self-supported, efTective, measurable and shared form. |
