Resumo: The foremost purpose of this dissertation was to display through ACEPLAC case study, the motivation concept applied as a creativity and increment of production factor, to medium size enterprises, sustained by management model and rewarding projects. The reason for the search of such a model was the systemic observation of work efforts, which have proved to keep the organizational motivation in spite of its changeable and whimsical aspects. The method aims to bring the experience to the concrete field of knowledge. In order to achieve this, a long process following distinctive steps was discharged. The theoretical framework about the complex phenomenon named motivation to work has unveiled an unmistakable starting point. The study of several characteristics of this phenomenon and the countless contributions presented since Elton Mayo and Mary Follet until the present day have made possible the constructions of a safe instrumental promoting criticai analysis of reality to take place. The option was to develop the analysis through a selected case study, since the objective was the linking of theoretical approaches to effective models practice. The objective was to signal to medium size enterprises executives and managers the relevant aspects to their organization and action, creating, thus, a broad view of appropriate themes, in order to generate new alternatives to the decision-making procedure connected to the subject. This is a significative model because it managed to reduce the changeable aspects and maximize the employees' whimsicality. The above-mentioned case is rich in experiences, decisions and examples, which can be adapted and taken to other enterprises of the same size. The sensible analysis of ali surveying material made it possible to confirm the opening affirmative that priorized the motivation as a factor of both production increment and creativity at medium size enterprises. The conclusion came to be the implantation of the above-mentioned models on May 1994, at Acesita Placas S/A - ACEPLAC enterprise.
