Resumo: |
The central variable of this dissertation is that only what can he measured can be managed. Applied almost universally in the studies of organizational dynamics, the challenge faced in the study is to depart from the traditional use of only financiaI indicator as means 01' evaluating the success or failure of industrial entities. In the present study some of the quantitative indicators (ROI, EBITDA, etc.) from a were approached from a qualitative viewpoint, as a support, so to speak, to the qualitative results used as constructs. As a consequence of the analysis, it was possible to establish a direct and more clearcut connection between management and strategic goals. Therefore It was possible to verify improvements in the management performance as follows: • Operational decisions became more objective • Improvement in the interface among the various departments of FIBRASA. • CIo ser integration between the management and operational leveIs. • Greater empowerment of the rank and file Today FIBRASA is profiting from the results of the study. |
