Resumo: The research deals about the importance of the leadership for an efficient provision court, which stems from a concatenated team work between the judge and the servers of a given unit judiciary. The need of a magistrate contribute to the formation of a high performance team for the confrontation of the untimely provision court, the main problem of the Judiciary, seeking the desired celerity and effectiveness of justice. The quality of the provision court will depend on the management imprinted by the judge in his unit. The research aims to the need for the judge exercise his activity means as a leader, dominating modern techniques of management and also influencing his team in search of excellence. Will be analyzed the type of leadership that best adjust to the judicature, which is the server. On it the magistrate identifies the need of the employees and deals to supply them, receiving in exchange the greatest possible dedication and motivation. The leader judge manages its unity and forging a qualified and motivated team. Given the impossibility to define the leader judge, are shown their characteristics traits that make the new model of the Brazilian judge, the server leader judge. To identify those characteristics in organizational size, interpersonal size and personal skills that set the leader judge. Finally, the need is deal with Judiciary to reflect on the current system of selective recruitment of magistrates, focusing on the choice of targeted people and, after the selection, invest on the constant training of leaders in their function, aligned; they will provide celerity, humane, fair and effective justice.
