Resumo: |
Faced of crisis in journalism resulting from the technological revolutions that impacted the communications market and the information companies that today operate in the midst of various economic challenges, the practice of innovation is defended as part of the solution. However, how to innovate in journalism is still poorly understood by the market. This study sought to understand how innovation manifests itself and is perceived in a third sector organization that practices journalism. In this context is the ONG Repórter Brasil, an entity that arouses national and international attention for the causes in which it operates. Through journalism, the ONG investigates, researches, makes public, and influences social changes on issues of the struggle for human rights. Based on the research by Carlos Franciscato (2016), it was possible to verify through the case study, the existence of the three categories of innovation in journalism, as proposed and defined by the author: technological innovation; organizational innovation and social innovation. From this perspective, this study sought to demonstrate how the ONG Repórter Brasil develops innovation capable of adding value to society through journalism. |
