Resumo: |
This dissertation proposes to identify the main agents from the Handicraft ecosystem in the Metropolitan Region of Recife (PE) and how they see the collaboration between design and craftsmanship to the maintenance of the market. The theoretical reference presented splits in two complementary strings, one debates the history of handicrafts and its role in Brazil, another highlights the actions of designers with artisans and their results. Primary data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with seven representatives of five agents from the Handicraft ecosystem in the Metropolitan Region of Recife (PE) and analyzed by prior categorization aligned with the theoretical reference. The mapping of the Handicraft ecosystem demonstrated potential to contribute to the development of strategies that seek to strengthen interactions and collaborations between design and handicraft |
