Resumo: This work aims to present student profile of an specific private university located in the city of São Paulo, as well as their expectations, economic situation and opinions about the university life. There are presented the hypotheses that the private high education students begin the course with high expectations and that aren’t great variations between the freshmen expectations and the satisfaction of veterans. We also aimed to know the variations between the expectations and satisfaction levels according to the identified profiles. Thereunto, we’ve made an exploratory-descriptive study in order to contextualize the research obtained results in the referred university with theoretical data about the high education in Brazil, the contemporary society and the work environmental. Our questionnaire was applied to 449 students from first, second and last semester in the Business Administration course from a specific private university in the city of São Paulo. Two questionnaires were used, one for the freshmen and the other to the veterans. In the obtained results, we have realized that in a general way, the figure of the University student doesn’t exist. Each student represents an individual universe with their own expectations and reasons for being in the university life as well as the roles they are engaged, factors which are strictly related with the student university life. Aiming to find answers to the suggested questions, four theoretical schemes have been proposed in results of the metaphor of the “High Education Systemic Allegory”. The preliminary conclusions appoints to the individual profiles identification as a way to bring similar group analysis, in order to enable the understand of who are the students of any specific institution, as well as what do they expect of university life and how satisfied the are at the end of their university course
