Resumo: Since the 1988 Adelaide Charter, the search for gender equality and women's empowerment has increased worldwide. Given this, the goals of sustainable development, proposed by the UN, establish goals that aim at debate, actions and public policy to strengthen women, in the different scenarios they occupy in society. Consequently, domestic violence is a phenomenon resulting from the values of domination and submission of women, imposed by a conservative and patriarchal society, which has lasted for years, with singularities in the Brazilian reality, and some normative advances to face it. The object of this work is the mapping of intersectoral actions in attention to women victims of violence in a municipality in the countryside of the State of São Paulo. The study was characterized by the dialectical historical materialist perspective, of a qualitative-quantitative, descriptive, transversal nature, using documental, bibliographic research and semi-structured interviews with fourteen participants. Technicians and managers responsible for the services of the intersectoral network were interviewed. Despite social movements, pressures from feminist groups and some achievements, it was observed the numerous weaknesses that the Brazilian public system has, which reflect on the dynamics of the service network. Through the collection and analysis of data, there was an approximation of reality, apprehending the contradictions between the confrontation and the lack of protection of women, such as the absence of dialogue and articulation between the actors and services of the network, insufficiency of actions and programs of support. Among the weaknesses, temporary and punctual forms of reception, support and support for victims stand out. The segmented responses do not correspond to the real needs of women, who are not fully and effectively met, so that they can break the cycle of violence, with dignity. The lack of necessary attention to the victim makes them even more vulnerable, fragile and unassisted, putting them back in the space of violation of rights, due to the lack of autonomy and opportunities. It became evident the need for service protocols, for the optimization of services and efforts, bringing together the actors of the intersectoral network. Violence is a complex, multidimensional phenomenon, and it needs to be understood in terms of social determinants, which worsen living conditions and the violence experienced. An ethical and political commitment by the government and society in general is necessary to break with the pragmatism and individualism of the different actors and services in the network, promoting equity, with effective and integrated services for prevention and health promotion, which respond to the demands of victims of violence.
