Resumo: Based on the theoretical framework of semiotics about actions, passions and studies on ways of life, we analyzed in this work, the fictional narration of the TV series Game of Thrones, to identify what are the main characteristics that make up the female characters in series currently produced. Created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, to HBO channel, the story is an intersemiotic translation of literary series A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R. R. Martin, and since the release of the series first season (2011), it has gained more space around the public sphere of entertainment, especially around Brazilians. Designed in a fictional universe and anchored in the medieval period, the series, which depicts the struggle for power between the noble families of Westeros continent, presents some complex female characters, among which we selected for our analysis: Daenerys Targaryen, a young lady, shy and naive, who is sold by her own brother to a savage tribe; Catelyn Tully Stark, a very political woman who is the matriarch of one of the most important families of the kingdom; and Cersei Lannister, the queen of Westeros. Considering that the serial narratives are constituted as one of the main cultural products responsible for disseminating values and determine behavior through the content that convey, we seek to identify the narrative, thematic, figurative and pathetic of female characters roles selected, as the main way of life that they demonstrate. We noticed, with those characters acting ways, that their soul states are primarily responsible for their change of ways of life and that the female is associated with motherhood and power, denying the life forms of passivity and submission and founding an individual moral categorized on the can-do, of the endogenous order, and a way of approaching to an equal way life compared to male ways of life, appeared on the show. Key words: Ways of life; passion; female; Game of Thrones.
