Da expansão à saturação da educação profissional tecnológica: uma perspectiva histórica dos cursos superiores de tecnologia no Brasil

Resumo: Over time, Brazilian education has caused a significant liability to school exclusion, posing many challenges for Brazilian society. Workers' low educational level evidence the lack of public policies that fuel a reality-challenged by new forms of work, the use of technologies, and the advancement of the global economy that characterized the conceptions of the constitution of Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia. The work resulting from this research is aligned with the construction of knowledge that involves Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT) in Brazil, having as objectives to show through the historical and documentary perspective, which sources are aligned with elements that portray the facts as for the creation and expansion of Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia in each period and its saturation as an in-class course of higher education. There is an emphasis in the scenario that involves the perspective of analysis of Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia to better understand the object of study in public and private spheres, of the city of Curitiba. In addition to a survey and organization of historical records, seven interviews were carried out, added to the analysis of 63 documents. The data analyzed through an organizational process of the textual corpus guided the construction of the study themes, through the map of association of ideas, using the technique of content analysis. The analysis allowed us to realize that, historically, Educação Profissional e Tecnológica was marked by educational reforms based on the assumptions understood in public policies by the interests of the ruling classes, which corroborate the production for the subsistence of a teaching model that favors the mercantile society. Considering the studied reality, it was possible to observe the manifestation in Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia marked by the discussion in its sphere of material structure, created as an organized action unit, evidencing the creation of a teaching model to stay. In this sense, with this research, it was found that the Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia throughout its trajectory obtained creation, development, and progress that guide the mode of social organization present in Brazilian education. However, it was also observed its saturation as an in-class course, thus migrating to a new educational scenario: Online Learning. The relevance of the study about Cursos Superiores de Tecnologia allows the expansion of theoretical and empirical knowledge in Organizational Studies in Administration.
