Resumo: | The present work aims to propose a system that favors the understanding of the classification evaluation, the Selective Process-Vestibulinho, and its results, in attention to the formative evaluation, aiming to implement a proposal of monitoring and evaluation using a model capable of exploring databases and disseminating information more effectively to the Technical Schools (Etecs) of the Paula Souza State Center for Technological Education – (Ceeteps), a special regime body of the São Paulo State Government. For that, it was proposed to build the Educational Data Tracking System (EDTS), conceived by the triangulation of concepts and propositions arising from the CIPP Evaluation Model (STUFFLEBEAM et al, 2003), the Data Wise Model (BOUDETT et al, 2020) and the proposal of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) (DUFOUR, et al 2016a).). For the management of an Etec, the path of analysis and exploration of the information offered by the databases, indicates the need for a large investment of time and study. The purpose of EDTS is to provide information treated to managers who, despite agreeing with the need to forward decision-making using accurate and reliable information, have not been able to invest in the exploitation and use of information from the Entrance exam. To build EDTS, the results of the entrance exam of Etec de Itaquera were explored –151 students approved for the High School course with professional qualification of Technician in Administration - MTec 2020. For this purpose, two software were used to analyze the results of the socioeconomic questionnaire and mathematical questions based on a Reference Matrix, of six (6) questions in the area of Mathematics, Elementary Education (final years): Microsoft Excel and Iteman (ASSESSMENT SYSTEM CORPORATION, 1998). The purpose is to process information using Power BI – Business Intelligence software developed by Microsoft - aiming at transforming large volumes of data into analytical and summarized dashboards. This is justified because such panels are configurable and able to automatically perform the routine of collection, treatment, analysis, and visualization of data. The results of the research indicate the importance of intentionally and continuously reflecting on the management practice, especially concerning issues related to the use of evaluative results to monitor and evaluate the difficulties faced at school. They also indicate that the process of implementing a new tool such as EDTS, and application of the CIPP, PLCs, and Data Wise models demand a detailed planning of actions and the good result depends both on the management team, as well as on teachers and public policies. |
