This dissertation is located in the area of ​​the studies of Rhetoric and New Rhetoric and aims to analyze how war is rhetorically constituted in MVBILL's rap. Rap is one of the most popular poems, especially among young people and teenagers. We hypothesize that passions have the power to build the rhetoric of war in this discourse. The corpus consists of six poems. They allow us to see how war appears in the texts. The guiding question of this research is: how is the rhetoric of war constructed in MVBILL's texts? The results show that war is rhetorically built with passion and memory. Rhetorical war is traditionally constituted and seeks conquest, domination and power.
