Resumo: Increasingly, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are used in many areas and learning activities as tools to facilitate tasks, improve systems or create work environments in schools. This research brings reflections on the use of the computer as an instrument to facilitate the creation of an environment that benefits learning, providing a greater contribution and diversification of classroom activities, as well as a reflection on the school space as a knowledge acquisition environment for the educator and the importance of the reflective teacher facing new challenges. With the experience in the performance of the function of teacher of Mathematics, we could observe the difficulties of the students in learning the operations with integers. When reading researches, we seek to prove that ICTs and a teaching strategy based on the potential of the use of the computer and the possibilities of educational software can contribute in different ways to facilitate the teaching and learning process of Mathematics, besides contributing to establish the collaborative work and to constitute a tool to aid in understanding the student's reasoning, difficulties and apprehensions. They also favor the realization of learning activities and even their individualization, contributing to the student's autonomy. We look for in the TICs, the Digital Objects of Learning of Mathematics, because we believe that they are one of the ways to potentiate the previous knowledge of the concepts of Integer Numbers and the arithmetic operations carried out with them, and thus to align them with the Curricular Proposals and the Pedagogical Practices.
