Resumo: | The main objective of the research is to analyze the implications of the centrality in women of the Bolsa Família Program Law and the consequence for gender relations. In the Bolsa Família Program (PBF), there is a legal definition in Art. 2, § 14 of Law no. 10,836 / 2004 that women should be the preferential holders of the benefit. This focus on the ownership of the preferential benefit of women reinforces the use of monetary transfer for the benefit of the whole family. A field survey was carried out at the Social Action Secretariat of the city of Lagoa Seca - Paraíba, initially analyzing single entries of women enrolled in the Bolsa Família Program (PBF) in the year 2016 and at another time interviewing 18 women. We used the qualitative-quantitative approach that involves quantitative and qualitative methods to obtain a deeper analysis of the research subject. The Federal Government's conditional income transfer programs, specifically the Bolsa Família Program (PBF), have a direct impact on gender relations in the family sphere, whether in the workload of women in family care or with the exemption of men in compliance conditionalities. |
