Resumo: |
The work that follows is the result of a research that had as scope the following problem: how hybridity between theatricality and television contributes to the TV-style sitcom Vai Que Cola? To answer this question, it proposed a stylistic analysis of comparison methods of some parts from three episodes of the program with the precursor Brazilian sitcoms Sai de Baixo and Família Trapo, and the american sitcom Scrubs. Supported on the theoretical framework of Brett Mills to identify the characteristics of traditional and non-traditional sitcoms. Jeremy G. Butler contributed the concept of television style of multiple-camera and single-camera. From them, it defined the television sitcom style as the main matrix Vai Que Cola. Starting from such a formulation, it was proposed that Vai Que Cola has two basic foundations for this structure: the theatricality and cameras styles. It is at this point that it was possible to see that the program is structured in the traditional model of sitcom that uses since its inception theatricality and multiple-camera in its format. In nontraditional sitcom it was possible to identify a specific strategy: the simulation of a single-camera still in the midst of the traditional style of multiple-camera. With the support of program staff interviews, it was noticed that these three features added to the simulation of the live format are strategically used to approach the viewer's sitcom. The concept of the actual technique of the direct broadcast (live) Mario Carlón was important to understand how hybridity between theatricality and camera models edify the television style Vai Que Cola. |
