Os impactos econômico-financeiros da covid-19 em uma empresa de transporte aéreo

Özet: | This work aims to analyze the financial statements of Azul Linhas Aéreas in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, in order to identify the impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Also carry out the same procedures with a company in the same sector, Gol Linhas Aéreas, for performance comparison purposes. In the theoretical framework, accounting and the techniques used for analysis are addressed: horizontal analysis, vertical analysis, liquidity indicators, debt indicators, profitability indicators, net need for working capital and treasury. For the development of this work, a descriptive research was elaborated, of quantitative and qualitative nature, since it corresponds to the analysis that was carried out from real data, originating from the financial statements of the companies analyzed within the period used. After data collection, the financial statements were analyzed using horizontal and vertical analysis and indicators of liquidity, indebtedness, profitability, working capital and treasury. When interpreting the financial statements and carrying out the analyses, it is visible that the pandemic had a significant impact on the economic and financial situation of Azul Linhas Aéreas, as there is a high degree of indebtedness, little liquidity capacity and lack of profitability due to accumulated losses. Comparing with the indices of Gol Linhas Aéreas, it is clear that Azul still had minor impacts on its economic and financial situation. |

Comparing with the indices of Gol Linhas Aéreas, it is clear that Azul still had minor impacts on its economic and financial situation.O presente trabalho tem por objetivo realizar a análise das demonstrações contábeis da Azul Linhas Aéreas nos anos 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 e 2021, a fim de identificar os impactos causados pela pandemia da Covid-19. Também realizar os mesmos procedimentos com uma empresa do mesmo setor, a Gol Linhas Aéreas, para fins de comparação de desempenho. No referencial teórico, é abordado sobre contabilidade e as técnicas utilizadas para análise: análise horizontal, análise vertical, indicadores de liquidez, indicadores de endividamento, indicadores de rentabilidade, necessidade líquida de capital de giro e tesouraria. Para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho, foi elaborada uma pesquisa descritiva, de caráter quantitativo e qualitativo, pois corresponde a análise que foi realizada a partir de dados reais, oriundos das demonstrações contábeis das empresas analisadas dentro do período utilizado. Posterior a coleta dos dados, foi realizada a análise das demonstrações contábeis com o uso da análise horizontal, vertical e indicadores de liquidez, endividamento, rentabilidade, capital de giro e tesouraria. Ao interpretar as demonstrações contábeis e realizar as análises, é visível que a pandemia impactou significativamente na situação econômica financeira da Azul Linhas Aéreas, pois observa-se alto grau de endividamento, pouca capacidade de liquidez e ausência de rentabilidade por conta dos prejuízos acumulados.
