要約: |
This study's general objective is to analyze the factors that influence rural producers' decision-making in the commercialization of the soybean harvest, aiming to contribute to the understanding of decision-making and more efficient market strategies. The research was conducted in the city of Camargo, in the north of Rio Grande do Sul, between August 24 and 28, 2023, involving 69 participants. It used a quantitative approach with closed-ended questionnaires and applied descriptive statistics to analyze specific responses. The results revealed that the preference for marketing in advance based on production estimates and future prices is not common among the farmers in the sample, suggesting a conservative stance in risk management. Furthermore, the influence of other rural producers in the region is not considered a decisive factor in their marketing strategies, demonstrating independence in decision-making. Production costs were identified as a significant factor driving farmers to be more selective in their timing choices and selling strategies. Producers showed high control and knowledge over these costs, preparing them for informed decisions. The drive to maximize profit was a key influence on marketing strategy, with farmers willing to adjust their approaches according to market conditions. This study contributes to the understanding of soybean crop marketing strategies, highlighting the importance of risk management, production costs, independence in decision-making and the search for maximizing profits in this sector. |
